It takes a good strategy for a film to succeed in reaching its audience. Not only is it important to have a plan for when your film is launching, a marketing strategy is often a required material in financing applications and nice to bring when pitching your project.
At this workshop, you will work with a current project of yours that needs a marketing strategy. During the workshop, we will go through two cases, one documentary and one fiction, and we will dive deep into audience, positioning, benchmarking, SWOT analysis and marketing material. In groups, you will work through ideas for marketing strategies and look at how you work with SoMe - including different platforms, formats, types of posts, hashtags and what it costs. We will work on actual ideas for strategies that will apply to your project and finally yet importantly, you will have the opportunity to consult 1:1 with the instructor Mathias Noschis within 10 days after the workshop.
When registering, all participants are asked to send a treatment or project description for the project they wish to work with during the workshop.
The workshop is for producers, consultants, promoters and distributors working in the film industry.
