GENERATION Filmfestival 2024
From June 12th to 16th, GENERATION returns as Copenhagen’s new film festival, focusing on the most prominent and daring talents within the art of film. This year, the festival expands across the city with film screenings, parties, artist talks and debates at Grand Teatret, Empire Bio and The National Film School of Denmark.
Who are pushing the boundaries of film? GENERATION 2024 explores this questions, presenting the latest works from a new generation of young filmmakers who will shape the future of cinema.
Over five days in June, you can experience 20 international films from the biggest film festivals around the world such as Cannes, Berlin, Venice, Locarno, and Rotterdam. Films that would not otherwise make their way to Danish cinemas. And engage in talks and debates with filmmakers, artists and opinion leaders, offering new perspectives on film and the major conversations of our time.
GENERATION begins on Wednesday, June 12th, and ends on Sunday, June 16th. The full festival program will be announced later in May.
