Masterclass with Anna Mantzaris

The National Film School of Denmark welcomes Swedish stop-motion director and animator Anna Mantzaris for a talk about her filmmaking process, inspiration, approach, and creations.

Anna is a young, up-and-coming Swedish talent in the animation world, best known for her multi-award-winning short film 'Enough.' Her short films have won over 90 international awards and explore how it is to be human today. She will let us behind the scenes of her work and into her unique way of working with felt, her quirky and imperfect puppet characters, and secrets about timing, humor, directing in stop-motion, and how you don't have to follow all the rules.

The Masterclass will begin with a special presentation highlighting Anna's creative process and behind-the-scenes insights. After a short break, there will be an interactive discussion with Anna, moderated by Dorte Bengtson, teacher at the animation program of the National Film School of Denmark.
