From June 12th to 16th, GENERATION returns as Copenhagen’s new film festival, focusing on the most prominent and daring talents within the art of film. Through hands-on exercises, participants will explore AI tools for research, development, production, and post-production while engaging with the creative and ethical implications of these technologies. On 31 October 2026, filmmakers will gather in Copenhagen for Visions & Voices: Women Behind the Camera in Europe—a day dedicated to female directors, diversity, and the future of cinema.

The event highlights the strong artistic visions, diverse career paths, and leadership that female filmmakers bring to an industry in constant evolution. Through masterclasses, case studies, and panel discussions, participants will explore both the creative processes and the structural conditions shaping European cinema today.

The event will take place at the Danish National Film School in Copenhagen from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and is organised in collaboration with the Danish National Film School, Creative Europe MEDIA Desk Denmark, WIFT Denmark, the Danish Film Directors Association, Institut Français, and with support from PRD Kulturplus funding.
